What is Payl8r?
Payl8r prides themselves on being number one for millennial finance. Helping shoppers to buy now pay later on a variety of different online products without having to worry about the costs. All you need to do is check out with Payl8r and you could spread the costs of your purchase into monthly instalments.
How does Payl8r work?
Payl8r works by offering its customers three main products, which include the following options;
- Speedy: repay in 30 days with 0% interest
- Split: split the costs of the purchase over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months (with interest from 1% per month)
- Spread: spreading the costs of your purchase with 0% interest
Whatever option you choose, you will be required to pay 20% of your total as a deposit for your purchase. The outstanding balance will then be divided into equal instalments according to the plan you have chosen. Payl8r also provides the option to choose your repayment dates for added flexibility.
How much does Payl8r cost?
Payl8r doesn't charge any additional fees for their services. However, it does require that you pay a deposit equal to 10% of your purchase upon application. If you choose to split the costs of your purchase over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months using Split, interest will be added to your instalments.
Missing or late payments of over a14 day time period will cause a late repayment fee to be added to your account. Additional costs may be charged for payments made other than direct debit and charges may apply for arrears letters, reminders and documents of which you are not entitled.
Will they check my credit?
Credit checks are performed to verify both customer's creditworthiness and affordability preventing against affordability issues in the future. However, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they can afford repayments. Customers may be asked to provide a copy of their latest bank statement electronically, to confirm their affordability.
How do I make a repayment?
To make a repayment you'll need to follow the following steps;
1. Choose Payl8r: Select as your payment method when you check out.
2. Pick the payment plan: Choose your deposit amount and complete the application form.
3. Application decision: If approved, your items will be purchased and ready for dispatch
4. Set up your account: Log in to Payl8r and view when your repayments are due and your recent purchases.
When do I make a repayment?
Payl8r offers the ability to choose your repayment date when you sign up. You’ll also receive reminders when payments are due to be taken on the same day each month. If your circumstances do change during your repayment period, you can repay early without any early repayment charges.
How do I return a purchase?
If you wish to return an order, this is the responsibility of the retailer with whom you made the purchase. Their standard returns process will apply, check the returns policy with the retailer’s website. Once your refund processed your refund, your account will be updated within up to 10 days.
What will I need when I sign up?
